Loading Capacity
Standard insulation fire brick (230*114*65mm): Due to the lightweight nature of fire brick insulation (IFB), a standard 20ft container (20GP) can accommodate approximately 12,000 to 15,000 bricks (including packaging), depending on the specific grade and its bulk density.
REBO’s Prestigious Partners
Over the years, REBO has established strong, long-term partnerships with leading enterprises across 30+ countries. From steel manufacturing to non-ferrous metal smelting, our high-temperature solutions keep the world’s most demanding thermal operations running seamlessly.
Quality Certifications and Global Standards of Insulation Fire Brick
Manufacturing & Quality Control
Every batch of our firebrick insulation undergoes strict ISO 9001 quality control. REBO selects high-purity raw materials with low impurity content and utilize automated tunnel kilns to ensure uniform sintering at 1350℃. Every single brick is precision-ground to achieve smaller dimensional tolerances. This ensures perfect alignment, tight joints, and zero thermal leakage during installation.
International Standards & Compliance
REBO insulated firebrick are fully certified to international standards. We strictly comply with ASTM C155 classifications and ISO standards for refractory materials. We hold valid CE certifications and undergo regular factory audits. All technical specifications including reheat linear shrinkage and cold crushing strength are backed by official, verifiable datasheets.
Third-Party Certified Performance
We offer complete transparency by supporting independent testing from world-class authorities like SGS, etc. Customers can request third-party verification for critical performance metrics, such as thermal conductivity and thermal shock resistance. We provide official test reports directly from these labs to guarantee absolute material integrity before shipment.
Proven Results & Energy Efficiency
REBO materials are proven in demanding environments, notably in Rusal’s aluminum electrolysis and carbon baking furnaces. By replacing traditional lining with our high-strength insulating bricks and refractory bricks, the shell temperature dropped by 45℃, reducing heat loss by 12% and lowering annual fuel costs. The insulation refractory bricks showed zero cracking or peeling after three years of continuous high-temperature operation.
Thermal Insulation for Every Kiln Type
Why Global Partners Choose REBO Insulation Fire Brick
Manufacturing and Production Capabilities
REBO operates a highly modernized manufacturing facility equipped with four advanced light weight fire brick presses delivering pressures from 800 to 1300 tons. Integrated with automated robotic arms, this machinery allows us to produce large soft fire brick shapes up to 1 meter in size. For firing, we run a continuous 120 meter tunnel kiln operating up to 1700℃ for bulk orders, alongside two flexible shuttle kilns dedicated to handling smaller or customized orders.

FAQs of Insulation Fire Brick
Q: What Is an Insulation Fire Brick?
Q: What Is the Difference Between a Refractory Fire Brick and an Insulation Fire Brick?
Q: How Can I Get a Quotation for My Project?
Q: How Many Insulation Fire Brick Can Fit on One Pallet or Inside a Twenty Foot or Forty Foot Container?
Q: Can Insulating Fire Bricks Be Customized to Custom Shapes or Non Standard Sizes?
Q: How Do I Choose Between Different Grades of Insulation Fire Brick like JM23, JM26, and JM28?
Q: Are Refractory Bricks and Insulation Fire Brick the Same Thing?
Q: What Are the Standard Insulation Bricks Specifications?
Q: What Is the Typical Chemical Insulation Bricks Composition?
A: The composition of insulating bricks determines their maximum service temperature and chemical resistance. Most premium insulating bricks are made from high purity refractory clays and synthetic raw materials, resulting in a composition primarily of Alumina (Al2O3) and Silica (SiO2). For standard temperature grades, Alumina content ranges from 30% to 45%. For high temperature mullite grades like JM28 or JM30, Alumina content can reach up to 60% or higher. Crucially, high quality insulating soft fire bricks maintain extremely low levels of Iron Oxide (Fe2O3) and Alkalies (less than 1% combined) to prevent carbon monoxide attack in reducing atmospheres.
