Monolithic refractory products are dry-mixed materials. They must be finalized through on-site water mixing, pouring, vibration, curing and an extremely dry-out process. The advantage is that it is not limited by complex furnace shapes and can fit the corners very well. What are Monolithic Refractory Products?

As the name suggests, unshaped refractories refer to refractories that do not have a specific shape, and are supplied in bulk. They can be processed into any shape.
After receiving them, you only need to mix them with water or a binder before pouring, spraying, tamping, or coating to form the desired shape. They can be used on-site without pre-sintering. Their core advantages over shaped refractories are: seamless integrity, flexible installation and rapid repair.

RUSAL Project: Complete Unshaped Refractory Material Solution

After order testing, based on the outstanding performance of the first batch of products, the RUSAL client subsequently decided to entrust REBO with the exclusive R&D and production of all subsequent refractory materials for the entire project. Since 2023, our team of technical experts has personally visited the RUSAL production site annually for comprehensive operational inspections, successfully establishing a long-term global strategic partnership between the two parties. Colombian Cement Kiln Project

A large cement plant in Colombia had previously suffered from shutdowns due to unstable kiln refractory linings and premature wear caused by thermal stress. Through in-depth technical collaboration, the REBO engineering team accurately diagnosed that the traditional materials in the high-temperature fluctuation zone had severely insufficient erosion resistance. Therefore, we customized a high-strength, anti-sparging refractory castable for the client, working in conjunction with special refractory bricks. This solution perfectly mitigated the destructive forces caused by drastic temperature fluctuations. Currently, the cement rotary kiln is operating stably, with a significant improvement in overall thermal efficiency, greatly reducing maintenance costs for the client.

Indonesia Incinerator Project

A waste incineration project in Indonesia has placed bulk orders with REBO for several consecutive years. Addressing the complex furnace structure and extremely harsh environment of toxic gas scouring, REBO has provided a seamless integrated “brick-mortar-insulation” lining solution. This minimizes the risk of highly corrosive flue gas erosion of the furnace’s steel shell, ensuring the long-term safe operation of the incinerator and marking another benchmark achievement for REBO in the field of environmental thermal engineering in Southeast Asia.
